Walnut City Pinot Noir 750ml- The most recent vintage of Walnut City's Pinot Noir has darker notes than the 06 Willamette Pinot, with garnet brilliance. It has toasty, caramel overtones with very earthy qualities, black cherry and cassis fruits, classic Burgundian spice and cinnamon. The entry is bright fruit, very smooth, soft but not sweet, earth and cinnamon spice. Supple on the midpalate, with long red and black cherry finish. Again, flavors of earth spice lend beautiful overtones. Like the WCWW 06 Pinot, this wine harkens to classic Willamette Valley pinots before Robert Parker.
